Corrections

Edited on 2 Oct 2026: We re-checked every price in this post against our records for 12 September 2026. We removed 3 items: 3 whose "was" price was our own estimate from past prices, not a price the shop advertised — for example Cadbury Favourites Monopoly Game Chocolate Box 489g at Woolworths, shown as $5.00 (was $12.00); Pringles Meatlovers Pizza 118g at IGA, shown as $2.75 (was $6.05); Brussel Sprouts at IGA, shown as $1.48 (was $3.25). We also removed wording that called these specials "genuine" or "verified" (the "was" prices are the shops' own, and we don't independently verify them).
Edited on 3 Oct 2026: IGA shops set their own prices. The IGA prices in this post are from one shop, Ashcroft's IGA Erskine Park in New South Wales, and we now name it next to each IGA price. Other IGAs may charge different prices. The prices themselves are unchanged.
